Welcome to the Chad Relief FoundationThe Chad Relief Foundation (CRF) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization whose objective is to provide assistance to refugees from the Central African Republic in south Chad and to the local population surrounding the refugee camps.
On June 20, 2010, World Refugee Day, more than 80 people came to a CRF event at the Santa Barbara Winery. Ticket sales, a silent auction and contributions raised more than $10,000 to support our activities in Chad. Thanks to all who came.
The Chad Relief Foundation was featured in the Santa Barbara News Press, The conflict in Central African Republic (CAR) receives far less media attention than that in Darfur, but the effects are much the same. More than 17,000 people have crossed into Chad since January, bringing the total number of CAR refugees to almost 70,000. A summary of the Chad Relief Foundation's efforts |
